About Us

University Temple Children’s School (UTCS) is an independent, non-profit organization, licensed by the State of Washington. We provide quality early education to children 12 months through 5 years of age. The program serves a wide variety of families in the Greater Seattle Area. We value diversity, and bring in families from a range of backgrounds and different family structures. Some of these include, and are not limited to, same-sex families, interracial, out of state, and international families, the LGBTQ community, and folks with unique physical and cognitive abilities. We believe in building communities based on varied perspectives because they both present healthy challenges, and create space for individuals to learn and grow alongside one another.

We value diversity in our staff and families and believe that these varying perspectives, family structures, identities and backgrounds enrich our experiences. We welcome all families regardless of race, socio-economic standing, class, color, sex, age, sexual orientation, religion, cultural background or disability. We comply with all requirements set forth by the American Disabilities Act.
