Orcas

Ages: 4 years
Ratio: 1 teacher per 7 students

Orcas are also known as killer whales, and Orca classroom is dedicated to taming the “killer” instinct common in 3 and 4 year old children, a process that includes equipping them with self-help and social skills. On a daily basis the children are involved in activities that promote individual skills that are then utilized in group play and problem solving.
The Orca classroom is organized into six areas for activity corresponding to: sensory, drama, large motor skills, manipulative skills, literacy and art. In each of the areas, and in the way they connect and overlap, the children
explore and expand their abilities alongside their peers and teachers.
Our children leave the Orca room empowered as individuals, able to communicate more clearly, and are better equipped to navigate their world independently and with confidence.
