Help Us Build Our Future

A New Playground!
UTCS Playground Capital Campaign
Thank you for learning more about the UTCS capital campaign to build its new campus playground! Your support could make a huge difference towards our goal to raise $60K by June 2025. We are seeking support of all levels and even title sponsors whose names would be displayed for many years to come in this highly visible community hub.
We are building a playground….
UTCS is building a playground to deliver on its commitment to nature-based, outdoor learning. The playground will make more time available for outdoor play on the UHeights campus and be an active play space for 100 kids daily.
- The new playground will quadruple available outdoor time for UTCS kids and provide outdoor access to other UHeights resident organizations.
- Our new playground’s accessible design for kids of all ages and abilities, ensures that every child in the program can engage in outdoor play. This will complement UHeights’ existing playground structure which best serves children ages 2.5 years and older.
- Rain or shine, our playground will provide a safe and enjoyable space for outdoor play, making weather-proof fun available all year round. With quick access, teachers can whisk their classes outside for a breath of fresh air, even in the midst of a downpour.
- We're committed to creating a playground that will stand the test of time and serve our community for decades to come.
…with the support of our community.
We’re excited to preview the opportunities to partner with UTCS and invest in the playground capital campaign.

Building our Next Chapter at University Heights - Grant Supporters
UTCS has been located in Seattle’s University District since 1970 and is thrilled to have established its new home in the beloved community hub - UHeights Center - as of 2020.
Since 2020, we have modernized four of the historic building’s beautiful rooms for use as state licensed early learning classrooms. Opening these classrooms enables us to provide early learning services to 60+ children and families. 50% of enrollment spaces in these new classrooms are reserved for income-eligible families who qualify for the Washington State Working Connections Child Care program. This new opportunity for the organization to provide childcare for a larger segment of our community affirms and renews UTCS’s mission and intentions for the decades ahead. Read more About Us and the organization’s journey since 1970.
We are grateful for the transformative support from our local and regional partners who have helped us lay down roots in our new home at UHeights Center:
